  • Hooray Prom

        Well, last week Erin Draguesku messaged me.  So I guess she is visiting soon, I think that will be really cool.  She reminded me of the time we went and saw Rugrats Gone Wild! right before she moved to Bakersfield.  I seriously hadn't even thought about that for a few years.  Its really cool when repressed memories suprise you like that.  Then Emily said that she didn't remember seeing that movie.  Later she said that she really did remember it but just didn't remember me being there.  Haha, she was probably just trying to spare my feelings; we all know she doesn't remember.

        Prom was Really nice! I didn't care so much for the dirty dancing and that song about the Lamborghini Gallard, but everything else was nice.  The jazz combo outside was where it was at, mostly because of the old guys with the Hollowbody guitar and half drumset.  Dancewise, I'm glad I didn't go last year, but dinner and friends was great, I could do that again.  We had dinner at Emily's house and it was soO nice.  Then our limo driver was j'amazing.  He had an australian accent and it was his first day on the job, what else could you ask for in a cool driver?  Near the end I started to get really tired because of the meet on friday and practice, but it was still cool.

        I was really suprised no one had colored tuxes except me and elliot.  Everyone thought they were going to be SO cool with their white tuxes, but then they realized, everyone had white on, almost more than black.  I was wearing a Periwinkle blue tux and elliot had a pink jacket.  His was inspired by the Relient K song "In Love with the 80s" and I was inspired by Dumb and Dumber.  Mine actually looked REALLY nice! It wasn't as ridiculous as some people thought.  A lot of people said that my jacket looked too big, but I was suprised that people didn't know it was a long jacket, and that sleeves are supposed to go down to your palms.  I usually consider myself a non-fashionable person, but I still have a lot of people beat I guess.

        This pushed me over the edge to finally writing a xanga post:
    The sandals that I've had for I think 6 years, got Owned today at Younglife.

    But, oh well, I got some awesome Asics shoes and an iPod for graduation.

  • Such a Cool Day

    So, today was one of the cooler days of my life but for some reason I'm really tired right now.

    On friday I bought an amazing fedora hat and I've been wearing it around town.  Some people look at me like I'm TOTALLY out of place, and other people just act like I look how I always do.  Oh well.

    Tonight we went to Erin's house play games and we made miis.  They claimed that they made a mii that looked exactly like me but I didn't really think it did.  It had a really big weird looking nose.  I really don't think anyone's looked like them but Cliff's looked like a scholarly indian man. 

    So here's the big story.  I would hype it up more here and stuff but I'm just so tired.

        At the end of squashmore year Maren said that she "might" be moving and she told me to give her my email address in her yearbook and I did.  Then, when we came back from school Junior year, she never showed up and she never emailed me either.  There was absolutely no way for me to contact her and I hadn't ever heard anything from her so I assumed she had defied the law of conservation of mass and just dissappeared from the earth.  When I started the whole myspace thing, I think I had in mind the idea of searching for her but I didn't find anyone.  I guess Maren is a more common name we would think.  Then I put in my space that I would like to meet Tim Foreman (Bass player for switchfoot) and Maren Munns.  I recently changed Tim Foreman to Brooke Sterling because Tim added me as a friend and I want to meet this Brooke Sterling that everyone seems to be so excited about all the time. 
        A few days ago I got a bunch of random friend invites that I didn't consider because I had never seen any of them in my life.  One was named grace and all of the comments were about male enhancement :/.  Another one was a girl who I am assuming goes to EV and Younglife but I'm not sure who she is, but she looks like a nice kid.  Then the last one was a profile with no picture who claimed to be 49 and named anna.  Well I just added them all because I was bored and anna sent me a message (I don't know anyone named anna, except maybe Annie, but thats pushin' it).  She said that it was Maren and that she was using her mom's myspace account.  She said that she was searching for her name in myspace and found my profile because it had her name under people I wanted to meet.

        So, thats a pretty amazing story imo.  I reckon tomorrow I'm gonna add another post so not so many people look at this one.
